Bay Shore 10, West Babylon 7: Emily Fogarty hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to lead No. 8 Bay Shore (13-7) over No. 9 West Babylon in the first round of the Suffolk AA playoffs from a continuation from Tuesday, May 15. The game resumed in the bottom of the fifth inning with Bay Shore leading 9-3. Deja Farmer hit a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning for Bay Shore. Chrissy Coan went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Julia Carpenter went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Carpenter earned the win, pitching seven innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits, striking out one and walking one. Bay Shore faces No. 1 Commack in the second round at Commack High School on Monday, May 21 at 4 p.m.
