Sayville 2, Kings Park 1: Brooke Scheibe hit a walk-off single to score Elizabeth Yoskowitz in the bottom of the eighth inning to lead No. 2 Sayville (18-1) over No. 7 Kings Park in the first round of the Suffolk A playoffs. Brooke Scheibe hit a fielder's choice to drive in Angie Capuano to tie the score at 1 in the bottom of the fourth inning. Maddie Recker earned the win, pitching eight innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out 10 and walking three. Marina Slezak hit a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning for Kings Park. Sayville faces No. 3 Mt. Sinai in the second round on Tuesday, May 22 at Sayville High School.
