Calhoun 7, Farmingdale 3: Lindsay Roman went 3-for-4 with four RBIs to lead No. 6 Calhoun (17-3) over No. 7 Farmingdale in Game 2 of the Nassau Class AA semifinals to clinch the best-of-three-game series from a continuation of Tuesday, May 15. The game continued from the bottom of the fourth inning with Calhoun leading 4-3. Jennifer Imhof went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Meghan Vecchione earned the win, pitching three innings on Tuesday, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out two and walking two. Roman earned the save, pitching the final four innings, allowing no runs on one hit, striking out nine and one walk. Calhoun faces No. 1 East Meadow in the best-of-three game finals at a time and location to be determined.
