Farmingdale 3, Plainview-Old Bethpage 2: Christina Hassett hit an RBI single in the fifth inning to break a tie at 2 and lead No. 7 Farmingdale (12-4) over No. 10 Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK in the first round of the Nassau AA playoffs. Hassett induced a groundout to first with runners on first and third to end the game. Sami Fried led off the game with a home run for Plainview before Cameron Stamm hit a two-run double in the bottom of the first. Plainview tied the game at 2 in the second. In the fifth, Farmingdale centerfielder Marissa Seyfert made a running catch and doubled up the runner at first base and ended the inning by throwing out a runner who tried to stretch a double into a triple.
