Commack 1, Longwood 0: A double by Casey Brown scored Sabrina Sussman in the bottom of the third inning for Commack (10-1) in non-league. Gianna Venuti was 2-for-3 with a pair of singles, and Justine Korol tossed a four-hit, complete-game shutout with four strikeouts for the Cougars. Her counterpart, Emily Koerick, struck out eight. Korol's biggest challenge came in the seventh inning when Angie O'Quendo hit a one-out double, but Korol induced a pop out and ground out to end the game.
