East Rockaway 10, West Hempstead 3: Caitlin O'Mara led off the top of the seventh inning with a solo home run to tie the score at 3 and later hit a go-ahead, two-run single to ignite a seven-run eighth inning for East Rockaway (9-0) in Conference A-IV. O' Mara went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBIs. Gianna Cilluffo allowed four hits with nine strikeouts, and escaped a bases loaded, no-out jam in the bottom of the seventh. She also went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI.
