"She's worked so hard to get to this point," Valley Stream South coach Demetri Adrahtas said. "I'm so proud of her. In the fourth inning I realized this could be special. She's been special the last three years, but this is the best I've ever seen her. Hewlett has solid hitters all around the lineup, so it says a lot about her."
