Brentwood vs Deer Park

Deer Park 3, Brentwood 2: Toni Santora, with two outs, hit a single to drive home Tori Fox, for the walk-off run and the win for No. 3 Deer Park (21-3) over No. 4 Brentwood in the semifinals of the Suffolk AA Elimination Bracket. Brentwood scored two runs in the first inning. Nancy Burns threw out a runner at the plate in the first and Genna Ferguson threw out a runner on first in the fifth to prevent Brentwood from scoring. With two outs and runners on second and third in the bottom of the sixth, Deer Park scored the tying run off a throwing error. Brittany Balboa pitched a complete game with one unearned run, eight hits and eight strikeouts. Deer Park will host No. 7 Whitman on Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Elimination Bracket Finals.
