Whitman 8, West Islip 2: Taylor Epstein struck out 11 in a complete game and went 2-for-3 with four RBIs and two runs scored to lead No. 7 Whitman (16-5) over No. 15 West Islip in the second round of the Suffolk AA playoffs. Britany Khatchatourian and Riley Piromalli each had two hits, two runs and an RBI. The Wildcats will visit Deer Park on Saturday.
