Massapequa 7, Long Beach 5: Jenna DeFina went 5-for-5 with five singles, including a two-run single in the top of the eight inning to give No. 2 Massapequa a 7-4 lead over No. 3 Long Beach in the Nassau Class AA semifinals. Julia Ruocchio had the tying hit with two outs and two strikes in the seventh inning. Massapequa will host Long Beach for a deciding Game Three, Thursday at Berner Middle School at 4:30 p.m.
