Long Beach 5, Massapequa 1: Tonianne Larson threw her second consecutive 17-strikeout no-hitter to propel No. 3 Long Beach (12-6) past No. 2 Massapequa in the first game of a best-of-three Nassau AA semifinal. Larson struck out 17 and no-hit Baldwin in the quarterfinals on Friday. "She's just really focused right now," Long Beach coach Carmine Verde said. "She's executing all her pitches and mixes them up really well." Lainie Kassap's pinch-hit, two-run double in the top of the fifth inning gave Long Beach a 4-1 lead. Meredith Fagan went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Long Beach will host Massapequa in Game 2 at 4:30 on Tuesday afternoon.
