West Islip 1, Connetquot 0: Kiersten Comer's double in the top of the fifth drove in Stephanie Neglia to lead No. 15 West Islip over No. 2 Connetquot in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA playoffs. Neglia walked with two-outs, before coming around to score the game-winning run. Jamison Lundie pitched a complete game, allowed six hits and one walk, and struck out three to earn the win. Connetquot starter Sarah McKeveny also pitched a complete game, allowed two walks and two hits, and struck out eight. West Islip will travel to the winner of No. 7 Whitman/No. 10 Floyd, Wednesday at 4:30.
