Longwood vs Floyd

Floyd 5, Longwood 4: Danielle D'Angelo's one-out, walk-off single scored Jayna Rios in the bottom of the eighth inning for Floyd (11-5) in League I. D'Angelo was 2-for-4, and Rios was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, including a solo blast in the second inning and a two-run shot in the fourth inning. Catcher Delaney Kane and second baseman Brianna LoMonaco made key defensive plays according to coach Fred Luhrs. Floyd led 4-2 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh, but Longwood scored twice to tie the score at 4-all.
