Clarke 10, Plainedge 8: Kirstin Cox's two-run homer broke a tie at 8 in the top of the ninth inning and led Clarke (3-3) in Nassau ABC-I. Cox, Sabrina Caputo and Ally Koutsogiannis combined for 10 RBIs. Lizzy Belfiore threw a nine-inning complete game after throwing a seven-inning complete game in the first end of the doubleheader. "She really gutted it out," coach Rachel Barry said.
