East Hampton 8, Hampton Bays 5: In the top of the ninth, Maddie Schenck drove in Alexis Vargas to break a tie at five and to lead the way for herself and Raven Biondo to score and earn East Hampton (3-4) the win in Suffolk IX. Hampton Bays lead at the bottom of the fifth, 3-0. Olivia Brower drove in Elle Gurnery off a triple to tie the score at 3 for East Hampton at the top of the sixth. No runs were scored in the seventh and both teams scored two runs in the eighth to tie the score at 5. Sam Merritt pitched a complete-game with one walk and eight strikeouts.
