Mount Sinai 9, Rocky Point 3: Julia Golina had 13 strikeouts and only allowed one earned run for Mount Sinai in its League VIII opener. Golina was also 3-for-4 at the plate including a three-run homer in the seventh. Third baseman Holly McNair was 4-for-4 with three RBIs, including a single, two doubles, and a home run. Hailey LaGuidice added a hit and two RBIs in the win for the Mustangs, who had 12 hits.
