HIGHLIGHTS
North Babylon 2, Whitman 0: Eighth grader Alyssa Seidler pitched a no-hitter with seven strikeouts and four walks to lead No. 4 North Babylon (18-6) over No. 10 Whitman in a Suffolk AA elimination game. "She stepped up in an elimination game and hit her spots with the help of her catcher Nahtica Shepherd," said head coach John Egan. "She was in control all day." Seidler's no-hitter was her third of the year according to Egan. Shepherd's two-out double in the fifth scored Madeline Davidson to put North Babylon ahead 2-0. Davidson scored both runs for North Babylon and had a strong defensive day at shortstop to help preserve the lead for the Bulldogs. North Babylon will host No. 7 East Islip Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
