Commack 6, West Islip 4: Kaysi Gruner's one-out, three-run home run in the first inning highlighted a six-run frame for No. 2 Commack against No. 6 West Islip in the Suffolk AA quarterfinals. Alyssa Bluethgen had a double and run scored and Ariana Arato had an RBI single in the first inning for the sixth run. Bluethgen allowed seven hits with seven strikeouts. Commack (19-4) plays at No. 1 Eastport-South Manor Monday at 4 p.m.
