Clarke 5, Island Trees 1: Sabrina Caputo's three-run home run in the top of the seventh gave No. 2 Clarke (13-3) a 5-1 lead in its Nassau A semifinals win over No. 3 Island Trees. Caputo, who had four RBIs, drove in Kristin Cox in the third to break a tie at 1. Sarah Cornell went 3-for-3 with a RBI and pitched a complete game two-hitter with 15 strikeouts. Cox went 2-for-4 with two runs. Clarke will face the winner of No. 5 Seaford/ No. 1 Carey in a best-of-three series 4:00 p.m. Monday at Mitchel Field in Uniondale.
