Massapequa vs East Meadow

East meadow 13, Massapequa 6: Sara Polansky hit a two-out, three-run triple in the bottom of the fourth to give No. 3 East Meadow a 9-6 lead over No. 2 Massapequa in the Nassau Class AA semifinals. Eighth grader Jenna Laird went 5-for-5 with three runs scored for East Meadow, which swept the best-of-three series and advances to play top-seeded MacArthur in the county final.
