Wheatley 20, Carle Place 8: Sami Palazzolo went 2-for-4 with a single, a triple, four runs and a RBI to lead No. 2 Wheatley (12-7) over No. 3 Carle Place in the Nassau B semifinals. Jessica Patterson went 3-for-4 with two singles, a double, two RBIs and four runs and Morgan Tursi pitched five innings and struck out eight. Wheatley will face the winner of No. 1 Oyster Bay/No. 4 Malverne next Monday at Mitchel Field in Uniondale, with a time to TBA.
