Island Trees 4, Division 1: Sam Petry hit a two-out, two-strike walk-off grand slam to lift No. 3 Island Trees over No. 6 Division in the Nassau Class A quarterfinals. Hannah Vogt started the inning with a leadoff single up the middle. Marissa Trezza tossed a complete game, allowing five hits and two walks, with eight strikeouts. Division's Daniella Roselli hit a solo home run in the top of the fifth for a 1-0 lead. Justine Jean allowed four hits and five walks, and struck out 11. Island Trees advances to play No. 2 Clarke in the semifinals on Monday.
