Harborfields 4, Sayville 3: Sophomore Hailey Heid's one-out, walk-off single scored Christina Amari for Harborfields (6-5) in Suffolk V as Sayville (11-1) suffered its first league loss. Harborfields trailed 3-1 in the fifth inning. Sayville led 3-1 in the fifth lef by Lyndsey Shaw's two-run homer in the third. Winning pitcher Lindsay Pressman's two-out, two-run single in the sixth tied the score at 3 for Harborfields. Catcher Angela Barberis was 2-for-3 in the win. Harborfields plays its fourth game this week at Comsewogue on Thursday. The winner makes the playoffs, while the losing team's season in over. "This is a great step up for Harborfields softball," coach Ralph Forman said. "Sayville is a great program."
