Northport 8, Riverhead 0: Gianna Ranieri threw a no hitter and struck out 13 to lead Northport (7-7) in non-league play. Erin Ferro went 3-for-3 with four RBIs and Haley Schmeiser went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a double. "She was in control throughout," Northport coach Ryan Middleton said of Ranieri. "She walked two, one girl reached on an error and that was it. Her command was unbelievable, she was hitting her spots all game long and had a lot of confidence. It was definitely her best performance of the season."
