Carey 4, Clarke 1: Brianna Pinto went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and two runs scored to lead Carey in Conference ABC-I. Senior Amanda Ulzheimer hit a solo home run, her first homer on varsity, to open a 4-0 lead in the fifth inning. Rebecca Vilchez tossed a complete game, allowing two hits and two walks with five strikeouts. Clarke's Sarah Cornell struck out 15 batters, including the 1,172nd strikeout of her six-year varsity career to break the all-time Long Island strikeout record in varsity softball. The senior pitcher broke the previous record of 1,171 set by Kings Park's Lindsay Taylor in 2011.
