Nicki Marciani and Jackie Ludwikowski each had an RBI triple. "On point, hitting all of her spots, just on a mission," Wantagh coach Christine Moran said of Monahan, who allowed two walks. "She was mixing her off-speeds, she was throwing a good mix, she just threw her stuff well." Moran added that she was impressed because Monahan knew she was approaching a milestone and still kept composed.
