Farmingdale vs Mepham

Farmingdale 12, Mepham 11: Jax Gregoravic's RBI single in the top of the seventh drove in Gianna Venteire to break an 11-11 tie in Nassau AA-II. Farmingdale took an 8-0 lead in the first inning. Mepham answered with eight runs of their own in the bottom of the first. Mepham scored in the third inning to take a 10-8 lead. Julia Brady's RBI single in the top of the fourth capped a three-run inning and gave the Dalers an 11-10 lead. Mepham tied the game at 11 in the fifth inning. Farmingdale's Michelle Marino's shoe-string catch in centerfield ended the fifth and preserved the tie. Theresa DeSantis went 4-for-5 with three RBIs for Farmingdale (5-1) and stopped a potential Mepham rally in the sixth with an acrobatic catch at shortstop.
