Mepham 15, Valley Stream Central 0: Mepham head coach Mike Muscara picked up his 400th career win, as Mepham defeated Valley Stream Central 15-0 in Nassau AA-II. In his 32nd year with the program Muscara has a record of 400-208-1. "All the victories over the past 32 years are for the players and the program," Muscara said. "I am fortunate that I have had very good athletes who play the game well and have bought into the system. Mackayla Brown pitched a five inning two-hit shut out for Mepham, with six strikeouts. Kelsey Vandewater went 4-for-4 with three doubles, Stefanie Simone went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, and Samantha Arcese went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
