She reached base on a sacrifice bunt attempt after the ball was thrown away at first base. She stole second. After Alise Colandro bunted for a hit, East Islip had the bases loaded with one out. Jenny Murphy attempted to score on a passed ball and was thrown out. On the next pitch, Benvengo scored the game-winning run.
