HIGHLIGHTS
Lynbrook 5, West Hempstead 4: Lindsay Ostroff threw out the potential game-tying run at home plate in the bottom of the seventh to give Lynbrook the win in its Nassau IV opener. After trailing 4-3 in top of seventh, Julianne Graepel tied the game with a double to score her sister Jessica Graepel. Liz DiCarmine then drove in the eventual game-winning on a fielder's choice. Julianne Graepel pitched a complete-game with nine strikeouts.
