Farmingdale 5, Hicksville 4: Sarah Pezzotti (3-for-4, three RBIs) had the game-winning RBI single to score Teresa DeSantis to give Farmingdale a 5-4 win its Nassau AA-II opener. DeSantis had a two-out RBI double in the top of the seventh to tie the game at 4 after a diving play and off-balanced throw at shortstop for the final out of the sixth inning.
