Clarke 3, Starpoint 2: Sarah Cornell allowed three hits and three walks with 11 strikeouts in seven innings to lift Clarke in the Class A state semifinals. Cornell hit a two-run homer in the fourth to even the score at 2. Sabrina Caputo then doubled and scored on a single by Lauren Reilly to give the Rams a 3-2 lead. Selenz Ruiz went 2-for-3.
