East Rockaway 9, Wheatley 6: Eight grader Emily Chelius won her fourth win in the playoffs allowing two earned runs, one walk and striking out four to lead No. 4 East Rockaway over No. 3 Wheatley in the Nassau Class B Game 2 Championship. "She has a disposition much older than her age," said coach Joe Lores, "She is very poised and has a love for the sport." Jessica Loyer went 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBIs and Erika Acampora went 1-for-2 with a run scored and three RBIs. Wheatley's Samantha Hurtado struck out six and scattered nine hits. East Rockaway (20-4) will play Babylon next Thursday at 4 pm at St Joesph's College.
