Longwood vs Sachem East

Sachem East 3, Longwood 2: Christine Conrad's RBI single to right centerfield with one out plated Taylor Damato in the bottom of the seventh of seventh-seeded Sachem East's (18-5) walk-off win over No. 11 Longwood in the Suffolk Class AA semifinals. The Flaming Arrows trailed 2-1 entering the seventh. Emily Corchia led off the seventh with an infield single and advanced to second on Kassie Tibbetts' single to left. Sarah Ferrante's one-out, RBI double to left, scored Corchia to tie the score at two. Jamie Butalewicz pitched a complete game and struck out eight for the victory. Sachem East advances to the winner's bracket final, where it will take on the winner of top-seeded Eastport-South Manor/fifth-seeded Patchogue-Medford, at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the higher seed.
