Oceanside 6, Massapequa 5: Brittany Teman singled up the middle to score Alyssa Hernandez in the bottom of the seventh inning to give No. 2 Oceanside (17-6) a walk-off win over No. 3 Massapequa (14-8) in the deciding Game 3 of the Nassau Class AA semifinals. Oceanside advances to the county championship series for the second straight season. The Sailors will face top-seeded MacArthur starting on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Hofstra. "I didn’t want our season to end here," Teman said. "I knew we deserved to be back in the county final. So this means a lot." Massapequa's Krista Carcaterra hit a game tying grand slam to deep right field with two outs in the top of the sixth inning to even the score at 5. Grace Bandini went 4-for-4 for Oceanside, including a one-out double in the seventh. Taylor Eisel (2-for-4) hit a two-run triple during a four-run second inning that gave Oceanside a 5-1 lead. Sabrina Seeger went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
