Clarke 8, Division 3: Sarah Cornell went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead No. 2 Clarke (18-2) over No. 7 Division in the Nassau Class A quarterfinals. Clarke will begin a semifinal series against No. 11 Plainedge on Monday. Sabrina Caputo hit a first inning RBI single, Brooke Scherer added a two-run single on the next play, and Holly Romeo had an RBI double to cap Clarke's five-run first inning.
