East Meadow vs Massapequa

Massapequa 6, East Meadow 5: Kelle Lalier hit a two-out, three-run triple in the bottom of the sixth inning to give No. 3 Massapequa a 6-5 lead over No. 6 East Meadow in the Nassau Class AA quarterfinals. Lalier and Amanda Gallo each had RBI singles in the third inning to even the score at 3. Lalier finished 2-for-4 with four RBIs and Kirsta Carcaterra went 2-for-3 with an RBI. With a runner on first in the top of the seventh, Carcaterra struck out the batter looking to end the game. Crista San Antonio went 3-for-4, including a solo home run in top of the fifth to give East Meadow a 4-3 lead. Christina Loeffler (2-for-3) homered in the sixth to increase the lead to 5-3.
