Whitman 10, Floyd 0: Linda Powell struck out 13 and walked one in a one-hitter to lead No. 14 Whitman (11-7) over No. 19 Floyd in the first round of the Suffolk AA playoffs. Ariel Khatchatorian went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Sarah Glaser went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI for Whitman. Whitman will play No. 3 West Islip on Monday.
