Island Trees 10, Division 2: Ashley Melendez struck out four, did not allow a walk or an earned run and scattered six hits in seven innings to lead Island Trees (9-3) in Conference AB-I. Island Trees' Sam Scharff had an RBI on a squeeze bunt that tied the game at 2 in the fifth inning. Marissa Trezza drew a walk on the next play with the bases loaded to break the tie. Island Trees scored seven runs in the sixth. Scharff went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.
