HIGHLIGHTS
Catherine Vaughan pitched a no-hitter with one walk and 16 strikeouts to lead Hauppauge (4-5) in League III. Vaughan walked a batter in the fourth inning. "She worked both of sides of the plate with her curveball and the screwball," Eagles coach Jim McGowan said of Vaughan, a junior and converted outfielder. "It's her first year pitching and she's gotten progressively better each game." Senior Kaitlyn Snyder set the program record for career home runs with 13, drilling a three-run shot to left field in the sixth inning. Angela Barbone went 4-for-4 and Christina Constantine went 4-for-5.
