East Islip 6, Deer Park 5: Jackie Carty scored the winning run on Emily Churpita's safety squeeze in the top of the 10th inning for East Islip (5-1) in League III. Second baseman C.C. Colon threw out the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the 10th. Megan Munn's sac fly tied the score at 4 in the top of the seventh, and Megan Palmer's RBI single gave East Islip a one-run lead before Deer Park came back to tie it in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to extras.
