Baldwin 15, Hempstead 0: Melanie Sadowski pitched a five-inning no-hitter to lead Baldwin in AA-II. The senior struck out nine and walked none in her first career no-hitter. The Bruins committed two fielding errors, including one in the first inning, which denied her the perfect game. "She has come a long way, so she was really pumped," Baldwin coach Tom Llewellyn said of Sadowski, who improved to 5-0. "She had great location, going inside and outside. The cureveball is her best pitch; it's got a lot of movement and it was great today." Alex Burns went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs for the Bruins (5-0).
