Seaford trailed 5-2 after five innings, before scoring two runs in the sixth and tying the game in the seventh. Seaford led 2-0 after four innings, before Morgan Petry's RBI single and Ashley Melendez's RBI double tied the game in the fifth. In the sixth, Petry had an RBI single to give Island Trees a 3-2 lead and Melendez hit a two-run single on the next play to make it 5-2.
