Bay Shore 6, Newfield 5: Rachel Mihlstein's solo homer in the bottom of the sixth gave Bay Shore (1-3) a 6-4 lead during its League II win. Mihlstein went 3-for-3 with three runs scored. Rightfielder Ana Vargas threw out the tying run at third base to end the game. Vargas went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs. Emily Fischer went 2-for-2 with an RBI.
