Mepham 5, Baldwin 1: Christine Rizzacasa had an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to put Mepham ahead 2-1 and Tonimarie Valeriano hit a two-run double to break the game open as No. 2 Mepham (12-4) defeated No. 10 Baldwin in a Nassau AA quarterfinal. Mepham scored all five runs in the sixth, including an RBI single from Ashley Boscarino and a bases loaded walk from Nicole Moccio. Mepham will play Oceanside in the semifinals on Tuesday.
