Clarke 2, South Side 0: Sophomore Sarah Cornell pitched a complete game no-hitter with 15 strikeouts and one walk to lead Clarke (6-1) in an AB-I/II crossover. Cornell took a perfect into the seventh inning before allowing a walk. The no-hitter was the third of Cornell's career. "She was able to get ahead and stay ahead of most of the batters," Clarke head coach Chrissy DeMott said. "Her rise was the go-to pitch for most of her strikeouts." Charissa Perfect helped preserve the no-hitter by making two outstanding plays in left field.
