Center Moriches vs Babylon

Addy Bennett drove in Addy Janawsky on a walk-off single in the eighth inning of No. 2 Babylon's 12-11 win over No. 1 Center Moriches in Game 2 of the Suffolk Class B softball championship series Friday at Martha Avenue Park. Babylon claimed its third straight county title. The Panthers trailed 11-7 heading into the bottom of the eighth. Brianna Mazeika's two-run double tied the score at 11. Eliana Romero had two doubles and four RBIs and Julie Goldstein went 4-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored. Babylon (11-6) will return to Martha Avenue Park to face Carle Place in the Long Island championship game at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 6. Lilah Eten and Olivia Haney each had three RBIs for Center Moriches (11-11).
