Sachem East 5, Riverhead 4: Madison Fisher caught a line drive at third base and fired to Gianna Prisco at first to double up a runner for the final out of No. 5 Sachem East's win over No. 4 Riverhead in the second round of the Suffolk Class AAA double elimination playoffs. Angelina Cornand struck out eight in a complete game. Xiomara Llerena went 3-for-4 with an RBI, Prisco went 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs, and Emily Beebe went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a double. Sachem East (15-4) will vist No. 1 Sachem North in the third round at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Adriana Martinez hit a two-run triple for Riverhead (16-5), which will host No. 7 Comsewogue/Port Jefferson in an elimination game at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
