Hauppauge 8, Smithtown West 3: Crisalyn Abruscato went 4-for-4, with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored in No. 6 Hauppauge's win over No. 3 Smithtown West in the first round of the Suffolk Class AA double elimination playoffs. Ari Cortes had two hits, including a double and drove in two runs. Aeryn Regan struck out six and gave up two hits over seven innings. Regan also had a hit and an RBI.
