Roslyn 10, Great Neck South 9: Hannah Mandell allowed only one earned run and struck out eight over four innings of relief and then hit the walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning to lead Roslyn (18-1) to victory over Great Neck South (15-3) in a Nassau Class AA play-in game. The win gives Roslyn the No. 12 seed, and it will visit No. 5 Bethpage for the first round of the Nassau AA playoffs on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Dani Lumetta went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs. Sophie Dick went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Alana Cook drove in a pair of runs.
